地名由来[edit]
村子上侧有一条路，村落建在路的下侧，村名由此而来。[1][3]
历史沿革[edit]
村史可上溯到宋代，那时属万安乡光贤里。民国时期设界下保；1992年撤乡设镇之后，村名一直沿用至今。[3]
文化活动[edit]
祥厝一带的金龙踩街、车鼓表演，以及老年体协的腰鼓表演和广场舞，是村中常见的文娱活动。村内设有老人活动中心。[2]
