蟹屿村位于福清市上迳镇，曾用名玉屿村、鞋屿村。据传唐代村民朱孟在姑母家做客，见姑母取水要往返一里路，便设法凿井解困；他遗落的草鞋化作一座小岛，初称「鞋屿」，后演变为「蟹屿」。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

80年代前为蟹屿大队，由9个生产队组成。1981年3月划分为13个村民小组，成立蟹屿村民委员会；1991年改名玉屿村民委员会；2021年5月恢复为蟹屿村。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年12月，蟹屿村被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1] 2024年2月，蟹屿村被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[1]
