官元村位于福清市上迳镇。据传村中曾出过一名进士，后遭奸人所害，村人称其「官亡」；因「亡」与「元」方言读音相近，村名遂改为今名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
旧属万安乡灵得里，元朝沿用其名。清末（1910年）属渔溪镇，1943年编为甲，属上迳乡北坝保。1950年属第五区洋中乡，1958年属渔溪公社，1959年析出另立官元大队，1961年归上迳公社，1984年改为村民委员会。[1]
