前宅村位于福清市上迳镇。相传古人迁居至此，见一座大宅，便在大宅前建屋，村名由此得来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明万历年间，先人从河南迁入平潭，之后又转到本地。明代隶属东隅灵得里；清末归渔溪镇辖。[1]
民国时编为6甲，属上迳乡上迳前保。1950年划入第五区，1961年设前宅大队，归上迳公社；1984年改为村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，前宅村被福建省爱卫办确定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
