树林村位于福清市上迳镇。1958年改名时，村子四周树林茂盛，于是取名「（木臭）林」；福清方言中「林」与「兰」读音相近，此后便以方言字写作「（木臭）兰」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

元朝年间村民由泉州迁来，旧属万安乡灵得里。清末归渔溪镇辖，民国时期设为1甲，隶属洋尾保。新中国成立后划入第五区上迳乡，此后于1958年归渔溪公社上迳大队。1961年另立「（木臭）兰」大队，归上迳公社；1984年改为村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，树林村被福建省爱卫办确定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
