渔溪村在镇区之内，324国道从旁经过；村名源于境内一条溪流的旧称“虞溪”，因“虞”“渔”同音而演变为今名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1984年，渔溪大队改设村委会，仍属渔溪镇。此前，1958年划入渔溪公社，设为渔溪大队；1943年设街头、街尾、新街三保，直属渔溪镇；清宣统二年（1910年）已归渔溪镇。[1]
更早时，明朝正德十六年（1521年）已有渔溪公馆，清康熙元年又设渔溪寨。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
为颂扬虞雄，村民于1994年在旧市场原址建起「虞雄将军纪念堂」。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2022年10月，渔溪村由福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
2022年12月，渔溪村被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版“绿盈乡村”」。[1]
2005年至2008年，村党支部连续四年被评为「五星级党支部」；2007年至2009年，村被评为「先进集体」。[2]
