上郑村位于渔溪镇村结合部，地势略高，村民多为郑姓，故名上郑；郑氏先民由莆田北迁至此。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1987年设上郑村，村委会选在乡村中心。此前，1957年渔溪公社成立后设上郑大队。[1]
