上张村位于渔溪镇北部，福厦路西侧，交通便利；村址地势略高，村名先作“上涨”，后改称上张。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年改大队为村委会，属渔溪镇。此前，1958年成立上张大队，隶属渔溪公社；1950年归第五区上张乡；1943年设上张保，属渔溪镇大联乡。[1]

明代为西隅万安里1图，宋代属万安乡万安里；清宣统二年（1910年）已归渔溪镇。[1]
