钟前村是渔溪镇的边远山区村，距福厦路约11公里，村名取自村前的一口大钟。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1987年改为钟前村民委员会。此前，1960年成立钟前大队，队址先在庄前自然村，后迁至际溪自然村；文革期间称钟前革命领导小组。[1]
村民生活[edit]
因自然条件较差，村民大多已迁往镇区居住，村中留守的人已经很少。[2]
果树以枇杷为主，兼有少量龙眼。[2]
