莲峰村位于东瀚镇东南部，东邻平潭，南邻莆田的南日群岛，隔海与福州新港相望，西邻沙埔镇。村辖8个自然村，村内有莲峰滨海旅游区。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子位于东瀚镇东南方，地形像一个莲花盘，故名莲峰。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋宁宗嘉定二年（1209年），村子已是海滨小镇，商贾云集，居民以讨海、运输、造船和经商为业。[1]

1953年，村子划为高山公社的莲峰大队，佳乐与万安两村当时也属其下。1967年东瀚人民公社建立，本村随之另立莲峰大队；1980年3月设村民委员会，1992年撤乡建镇。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

莲峰滨海旅游区以海滨度假和水上运动为主，沙滩退潮时宽度可达120米以上。[2]

峰前自然村的金鸡山上有一座烽火台，残高约3米，距万安烽火台约3公里。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，莲峰村入选2018至2020年度的福建省级文明村镇社区。[1]

2023年12月，莲峰村获评福州市2023年市级「一村一品」专业村，主导产业为海带。[1]
