钟厝村是福清市三山镇下辖的行政村[1]。
地名由来[edit]
钟氏先祖出自河南颍川固始，唐末宋初迁入闽南，后迁至福州黄巷，又因战乱迁往玉融一带，在凤岭择地建屋，钟氏在此立村，故名钟厝[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
宋元时属孝义乡化南里，境内有云江、西钟等境。1943年设钟厝保，1950年设钟厝乡，1959年析出另立钟厝大队，1961年改隶三山公社[1]。
