海瑶村是福清市三山镇下辖的行政村[1]。

地名由来[edit]

村址所在的瑶峰地势形如“跃龙境”，左环鳌海，右绕鹿山。高、林、李三姓分居磁瑶、硋窑、玉瑶三处，形似燕子南飞，俗称居住地为“燕穴”[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

唐朝时乡名称瑶峰，属崇德乡[1]。宋末，高、林、李三姓先后迁入，形成磁瑶、硋窑、玉瑶三个自然村，直到1952年统称海瑶[1]。明代属西隅平北里上都，清末属高山镇[1]。
