文场村在沙埔镇境内。村名的来由是古时村中出过许多文人才子，故名文场。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村地在宋代属崇德乡平南里六十一都，明代属北二隅，清末归高山镇崇德乡。民国年间隶属龙洋保，新中国成立后改属第四区高山镇东盛乡。[1]

文场大队于1961年由高山公社设立。1981年改归沙埔公社，1984年为沙埔乡文场村，1992年随乡改镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，文场村被授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
