和岐村在沙埔镇境内。村庄原名三岐，因常年云雾萦绕，又称云岐。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代此地属崇德乡平南里，有云岐之称，元代沿袭。明代归北隅平南里，清末归高山镇崇德乡。民国时期设六一乡和岐保，新中国成立后改属第四区官厅乡。[1]

1962年，院西大队中析出和岐自然村，成立和岐大队。1981年划归沙埔人民公社，1984年设沙埔乡和岐村委会，1992年乡改镇。[1]
