前岭村位于大王山与山前山之间的山岭前面，村名由此而来，隶属福清市高山镇。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子位于大王山及山前山之间的山岭前面，故名前岭。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年9月，大队改为村委会，属高山镇。1959年，此地归高山公社，为前岭大队。[1]

旧属崇德乡平南里五十九都，境内有前岭、安汉、华塘等境。1943年归文兴保，编为11甲，隶属高山镇；1950年归院西乡。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，省爱卫办将本村列为「福建省卫生村」。[1]
