地名由来[edit]
据百度百科，村名源于唐末李氏先祖迁居龙高半岛北端的山垞。博雅地名网则记，唐末黄巢起义之后，朝中宗室后裔迁徙至龙高半岛一带。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
1984年，改为北垞村委会。1959年，此地归高山公社。[2]
宋代属崇德乡平下里。1943年设为北垞保，隶属高山镇。[2]
文化[edit]
村内现存清代中晚期的李氏宗祠，祠前有大埕、回廊，并立有一块万历年间的石碑。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，省爱卫办将本村列为「福建省卫生村」。2023年12月，被认定为「福州市2023年市级一村一品专业村」，主导产业为花蛤育苗。[1]
