地名由来[edit]
宋代此地称岑岗。先人自光州固始迁来，见岑岗山川秀美，便居于山脚，村名遂由此而来。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
1984年9月，大队改为村委会，属高山镇。1958年，此地归高山公社，为岑下大队。[1]
1943年归三明保，保驻后王村；1950年归第四区。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，本村入选福建省卫生村名单。[2]
