玉楼村位于福清市高山镇东北部沿海，与平潭隔海相望，相距约5公里。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村落原名「下楼」，位于山路的下方。因与他村重名，1958年改为现名。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村子的海岸线长约4公里，景观完整。村中保存着历史古厝。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1984年，大队改为玉楼村委会。1958年，此地归高山公社，为玉楼大队。[1]
宋代属崇德乡平下里，境内有凤害奚、岐山、村田等境。1943年，涵谷、山后、岭上三保归高山镇；1950年改属垄上乡。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年12月，玉楼村被确定为「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」；2022年10月，被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2025年3月，被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
2023年12月，玉楼村被认定为「福州市2023年市级一村一品专业村」，主导产业为海蛎。[1]
