地名由来[edit]

村子位于一条道路的前方，旁边有一座形状似头的小山峰，故名门头。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年，大队改为门头村委会，仍属高山镇。1958年，此地归高山公社。[1]

此地旧属崇德乡平下里，境内有穆门境。1943年设门头保，分12甲，隶属高山镇；1950年归第四区赤岭乡。[1]
