海门村隶属福清市高山镇，坐落在高山港北岸，是镇内村庄中最靠前沿的一个。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子建于高山港北岸，处在高山镇村庄的最前沿，因此得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1984年，海头大队改为海头村委会，1985年改称海门村委会，仍属高山镇。[1]
此地先前旧属平南里五十九都，境内有玉海境。1943年归海头保，编为3甲；1950年属第四区；1958年设高山公社海头大队。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，省爱卫办将本村列为「福建省卫生村」。[1]
