历史沿革[edit]
1910年村属龙田镇。1943年划归港头保。1950年为第七区三山乡所辖，1952年转入第十三区。1958年龙田公社时期，村子在其下；1961年港头公社成立后，村子改由其管理。1984年设村委会，归港头乡，1992年乡改镇。[1]
宗祠[edit]
村中原有定翁宗祠，共三落，坐南朝北。咸丰三年（1853年）六月十八日一场台风将后落吹离原位，后又重修为前后两落。1995年正月，村中重建翁氏祠堂。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2022年12月，东翁村被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版“绿盈乡村”」。[1]
