柯屿村位于福清市龙高半岛西南部，旧时是四面环海的岛屿，1979年围垦成功后与陆地相连，成为半岛。[1]村名因岛上旧时盛产柯木。[2]全村有370户，旅居海外的华侨约400人。[3]

沿革[edit]

相传宋代陈氏先祖陈伯奎由河南迁往闽南漳州，后出海捕鱼到达柯屿岛，留下一子在岛上开发，子孙由此繁衍。[1]

此地先属孝义乡临江里，内有柯峰境，元朝沿用；明代仍属临江里。1910年（清宣统二年）改隶江阴乡，1943年编为屿礁保6甲；1950年归大厝乡第8区，1978年设柯屿大队，隶江镜公社。1984年设村委会，1990年随乡改镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

农业农村主管部门于2022年10月把柯屿村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
