文房村位于江镜镇，村名初为「王房」，后因村中文人辈出，改「王」为「文」，定名文房。[1][2]

沿革[edit]

宋代此地属孝义乡临江里，内有文通境，元朝沿袭。明代归南下隅临江里。1910年（清宣统二年）划入龙田镇。1943年归江德乡，1950年归第3区，1959年设文房大队，隶龙田公社。1984年9月改设村委会，属江镜乡；1990年划为江镜镇辖。[1]
