前张村位于江镜镇，因张姓聚居，且位于后地村前面而得名。[1][2]

沿革[edit]

元朝时，一支张姓族人自南京铁井栏迁来，属崇德乡井得里，内有安宁境；明代归西隅井得里。1943年划入龙田镇，编为芦张保11甲；1950年归第3区芦张乡；1961年改属江镜公社。1984年划入江镜乡政府，1990年随乡改镇。[1]
