南宵村位于江镜镇北部，邻近龙田镇，村名源于早年一位姓肖的外地人在此开店，其后渐成街市。[1][2]村中的下和洋是一个自然村，保留有古民居，村里还有高由禧故居。[1][3][4]

地名与沿革[edit]

宋代此地属感德乡井得里，元朝沿袭其制，明代仍属井德里一带。清宣统二年（1910年）归龙田镇管辖。[1]

1943年设江德乡院后保，保驻南宵；1950年划入第3区南谢乡。1958年设南宵大队，隶龙田公社；1984年改设村委会，属江镜乡；1990年改属江镜镇。[1]

下和洋[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，下和洋小学是福清第一所自然村完小，至今仍在；创办于清光绪二年（1876年）的和洋堂，则是福清第一所自然村教堂。[3]

高由禧（1920年至2001年）是气象学家，福建福清人，1980年当选中国科学院学部委员（院士）；据博雅地名网，他诞生于下和洋。[3][4]

南宵村对下和洋的古民居进行了修缮，步云学堂、高由禧祖厝与医学之家等15栋古民居得以保存，并辟为古民居文化产业园。[3]2021年6月，下和洋列入「福建省第四批省级传统村落」名单。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2018年10月，农业农村部推介南宵村为「2018年中国美丽休闲乡村」。[1]2020年11月，南宵村入选首届「福州十大魅力乡村」。[1]2021年2月，南宵村列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]2021年9月，南宵村被认定为「第二批全国乡村治理示范村」；同年11月获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]2025年3月，南宵村被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
