鹤潭村位于江镜镇，村名来自村中旧日的一处泥潭，常有白鹤来此戏水。[1]全村有958人、252户，分为7个村民小组。[1]

沿革[edit]

宋时此地为崇德乡华北里上都，元朝沿用旧制；明代改隶东隅化北里。1910年（清宣统二年）归龙田镇。[1]

1961年设鹤潭大队，属江镜公社。1984年9月改设村委会，属江镜乡，1990年起属江镜镇。[1]
