塘沁村位于江镜镇东部，村名来自村前旧时一条南北向的河流，河畔池塘众多。[1]村辖狮厝等2个自然村，全村有2065人。[1]村内设有一所完全小学。[1]

沿革[edit]

宋代此地在崇德乡井得里之内，有龙沁塘，元朝沿其旧制。明代归西隅井得里。清宣统二年（1910年）归龙田镇管辖。[1]

1943年归江德乡管辖；1952年改属第十二区南谢乡。1963年分出设立塘沁大队，隶江镜公社。1984年改设村委会，属江镜乡；1990年随乡改镇。[1]
