江镜村是江镜镇辖下的一个行政村，村名取自附近海面的景象。[1]全村有村民6200余人、1350户，分为31个村民小组。[2]

地名与沿革[edit]

村子南面是大片滩涂与海湾，涨潮时水面平展如镜，村名由此而来。[1]

南宋隆兴元年（1163年）有人自南京铁井栏迁入，初属崇德乡井得里。明代归西隅井得里管辖，至1910年前后划入龙田镇。1943年此地为前宅保，编有15甲，并入江德乡；1950年起称前宅村，归江镜乡管理。1958年改设前宅大队，文革期间称和平大队，1984年9月设江镜村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

江镜村在2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
