江镜镇是福建省福州市福清市下辖的镇，地处福清市东南沿海的突出部分，东面与港头相接，北面毗邻龙田，西面通往融侨码头，辖有26个行政村。[1][2]

按百度百科引用的2017年数据，镇域为5816公顷，常住人口为90461人。[1]博雅地名网另记镇域约56.8平方公里、人口约7.6万，未注年份。[3]酒店村一带保有1930年代以来的革命旧址。[6][7][8]

历史沿革[edit]

唐宋时期，今镇域分属福清县的崇德乡井得里和孝义乡临江里。据《八闽通志》卷五所记（转引自博雅地名网），五代时王审知率军围垦江镜一带的滩涂，军队在高地掘井却无水，王审知拜井之后泉水涌出，此地遂称拜井里，又名井得里。[4]

元代沿袭宋制，明清两代则分属西隅与南下隅。民国时期先属龙田区，后又归龙田乡的江德乡管辖。1949年9月划入第三区，1952年成为福清县第十二区的一部分。[4]

龙田人民公社于1959年4月接纳此地，1961年又将其分出，组成江镜人民公社。1984年改设江镜乡，1991年撤乡设镇。博雅地名网的镇史页记作1991年，各村史页多记作1990年，此处取镇史页的说法。[4][5]

名胜古迹[edit]

酒店村是江镜镇的革命老区，境内的「江镜镇革命烈士陵园」、「泰山寺革命据点旧址」与「福建抗日先遣队福清支队驻地旧址」都在该村。[6][7][8][9]

何胥陶于1931年冬在龙高地区发动群众，筹组救乡团、保民团。同年12月26日，当地群众在泰山寺集中后武装起义，据称歼敌700多名。[7][8]

1944年，何胥陶等人在泰山寺与聚福堂竖起抗日旗帜，组建福建抗日先遣队福清支队，由何胥陶任支队长。聚福堂即该支队的驻地，今为旧址。1947年，闽中军分区司令部与中共福平县委也曾设在泰山寺。[8][9]

荣誉[edit]

2012年至2013年度，江镜镇获「国家级生态乡镇」命名；2020年度列入「福建省乡村振兴重点特色乡（镇）」；2022年度列入「福建省乡村振兴示范乡镇」。[3]
