茶腰村位于龙田镇东部，在东壁岛中部，耕地面积330亩。[1]

村子建在村后群山的半山腰上，故名茶腰。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代有人来此定居。此前此地属崇德乡时和里，境名宅腰、振兴，元代沿用。1910年并入龙田镇。东壁保在1943年设立时，本村归其管辖；1950年隶第三区东壁乡；1958年改为龙田公社下的东壁大队；1984年设茶腰村委会。[1]

全村286户，总人口968人，辖2个自然村，7个村民小组，党员36名。[1]
