历史沿革[edit]
此地旧属崇德乡时和里，境名东陈、南路边、安福、兴福，元代沿用；明代归南上隅时和里，1910年划入龙田镇。1943年设8甲。[1]
1950年归第三区，设东庭乡；1959年改为东庭大队；1984年改设村委会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
通往港头等地的县道从东庭、下店两个自然村穿过，大真公路经过西欧自然村。[1]
文化[edit]
村里办有一所小学，设在东庭自然村。[1]
2024年1月，东庭村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2023年11月，被命名为「2023年度福州市绿盈乡村建设中级版村庄」。[1]
