历史沿革[edit]
此地旧属孝义乡隆仁里，境名嘉兴、圣安，元代沿用；明代归北一隅隆仁里2图，1910年划入龙田镇。1943年隶西林保。[2]
1950年设玉瑶乡，属第三区；1958年改为龙田镇的玉瑶大队；1983年2月村委会成立，由1至20组组成；1984年改设玉瑶村委会。[2]
人口[edit]
住户728户，人口3128人，村民小组20个；党员75人。[1]
文化[edit]
2024年1月，玉瑶村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2022年10月，经福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
