西亭村位于龙田镇西部，是革命老区村，包含2个自然村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地旧属孝义乡隆仁里，境名嘉应，元代沿用；明代归北一隅隆仁里2图，1910年划入龙田镇。1943年编为6甲，称西林保，隶龙田镇福塘乡。[1]
1950年归第三区；1958年设西亭大队；1984年改设村委会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
辖区面积2.2平方千米，耕地1750亩，山地1020亩，海滩200亩。[1]
人口[edit]
全村945户，总人口3785人，15个村民小组，党员97名。村中有卫生所2个，小学1所。[1]
