西焦村位于龙田镇西部，耕地面积519亩，村民多种植花果苗木。[1]

村名来历：清光绪年间，焦姓人家迁来此地，村子位于龙田西部，故名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代此地属孝义乡隆仁里，境名浦坂，元代照旧；明代归北一隅隆仁里2图，1910年划入龙田镇。[1]

1958年改属龙田公社；1962年设西焦大队；1984年改为村委会。[1]

人口[edit]

住户310户，居民1242人，分为6个村民小组，党员46人。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年12月，村子被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
