下溪村位于龙田镇西部，靠近大湖洋，西南有一条小溪穿村而过，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代此地属孝义乡隆仁里，境名金溪，明代归北一隅隆仁里2图，1910年划入龙田镇。[1]

1958年成立下溪大队，1984年改设村委会，属龙田镇，由8个村民小组组成。[1]

人口[edit]

全村现有人口887人，238户，党员41名。[1]
