地名由来[edit]
村名最初为「马蛇」，因山形似马似蛇而得名。土地改革后改名为「马斜」。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
宋代此地属方城里感德乡，称作马斜境。明代归方成里，万历二十六年（1598年）村中由李秋吉主持修建了一座古桥，至今保存。清末改属海口，民国时编入海口镇元龙乡的七保社，分为四甲。新中国成立后，历经第二区七社乡、城头区马斜乡与海口区七社乡等隶属变动。1958年设马斜大队，归海口公社；1961年转属城头公社，1981年归南岭公社，1984年改称南岭乡，1999年改为南岭镇。[1][3]
文化[edit]
2020年12月，马斜村入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单；2021年11月，福建省爱卫办公布的名单把它列为「福建省卫生村」拟命名对象；2023年12月，它被认定为「福州市2023年市级一村一品专业村」，主导产业为地瓜烧。[1][2]
