地名由来[edit]
相传明嘉靖年间，后俸杨氏家族中的一位文官隐居在此处的山林之中，村名由此而来。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
宋代此地属感德乡新安里，明代改属西隅新安里，清宣统二年（1910年）归海口镇。民国时期属黄墩保，1950年划入首溪乡。1958年设首溪大队，1959年改属岚兰大队，1961年由岚兰析出，单独成立文祚大队，隶属城头公社。1981年并入南岭公社，1984年改大队为村委会，1999年随乡改镇。[2]
经济[edit]
该村原为空心村，后借助乡村振兴发展农文旅产业，打造了名为「霍比特小镇」的景点，并推行村党支部带动合作社、农户的经营方式。[1]
文化[edit]
2021年12月，文祚村获评「2021年度福建省森林村庄」；2023年11月，它被命名为「2023年度福州市绿盈乡村建设中级版村庄」；2024年初，又被列为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」的创建对象。[2]
