南岭镇位于福建省福州市福清市东北部的山区，镇人民政府驻西溪村，下辖8个行政村。1981年曾设南岭公社，1999年由乡改为镇。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

唐宋时期，今镇域分属感德乡的方成里与新安里。清宣统二年（1910年）起归海口镇管辖，其后又经区、公社、乡等多次调整。1981年4月设立南岭公社，此后于1984年转为乡建制，直至1999年12月才改设为镇。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

镇名「南岭」由两个字组成：一字取自下岭的主要村庄南厝，另一字取自下岭之中。[2]

地理环境[edit]

关于镇域面积，百度百科作34平方千米，博雅地名网作约22.5平方公里，两者均未注明统计年份。[1][2]

经济[edit]

镇内农业以水稻、花生、大豆为主要作物。[2]

文化[edit]

镇域获得的称号中，最早的一项是环境保护部在2014年6月认定的「2012—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」。此后，福建省爱卫办在2020年冬季将其列为「福建省卫生乡镇」，2023年内又获评「2023年度福建省森林乡镇」，2024年初则被列入「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

吴氏支祠位于吉岚村，解放战争时期，福清东区的游击队常在此聚集，是当地的革命活动地。祠堂占地约260平方米，清末建成，为土木结构，现存状况不佳。1933年前后，陈金来到村中开展宣传，招募吴姓村民组成工农游击队，此后数次在祠内集会、开办夜校，并组织抗日游击队。[3]

西溪村西北侧、思亲堂旁边的陈英烈士墓，纪念的是一位西溪村出身的烈士。西溪村的一户贫苦人家在1926年4月迎来了陈英。他在1948年7月入党，随后在闽中游击支队担任副司令员陈亨源的警卫班长。1949年3月，他在反围剿的战斗中牺牲，时年24岁，解放后被中央人民政府内务部列为第一批「革命烈士」。[4]
