梧屿村位于福清市海口镇龙江中段沿岸。村名的来历，据百度百科所载，一是村西的风化岩形似黄牛，二是旧址状如环海的岛屿。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

梧屿村唐代为周姓开创，明代俞氏自里美迁来，属感德乡仁寿里，有龙兴境。1943年村中有三甲，为梧屿保驻地。1950年归松潭乡，1956年曾设梧光初级社，1957年改称梧光高级社，1983年恢复今名。1958年后归海口公社，1961年才另立梧屿大队，1984年改为村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，本村获评「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
