东峤村位于福清市海口镇。旧时海潮可达钟山脚下，此处是钟山东部一块突出的小山嘴，村名即由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
东峤村宋代属感德乡仁寿里，境内有员乔境，元代沿用其制。明代属南上隅仁寿里，清末（1910年）才划归海口镇。1943年这里设东峤保，编为八甲，隶属海口镇杞店乡。1950年设东峤乡，属第二区；1952年改属第十区瑞亭乡，1955年再归海口区东峤乡，1958年为海口公社东峤大队，1984年改为村委会，仍属海口镇。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，本村获评「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
