西洽村位于阳下街道北部，距福清市区7公里。村名源于解放前已有的西洽村，解放后仍沿用旧名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋代属永福乡遵义里，明代属北二隅遵义里，清末归遵义乡。民国时在融城镇北亭乡下西亭保。1950年隶第1区西亭乡；大跃进时西亭片各村一度并为一个大队，1960年又分开，复称西洽大队。1961年归阳下公社；1984年9月改为村委会，隶阳下乡；2005年12月改为街道。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2012年，西洽村被评为福建省「生态村」和「卫生村」。[1]
