下亭村是阳下街道下辖的行政村，位于北西亭的最南端，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋代属永福乡遵义里，明代属北二隅遵义里，清末归遵义乡。民国时属融城镇北亭乡下西亭保。1961年设下亭大队，隶阳下公社；1984年转为村委会，隶阳下乡；此后经历乡改镇，2005年改为街道。[1]
