中亭村是阳下街道下辖的行政村，村舍在西亭片村的中部，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋代归永福乡遵义里，明代分属北二隅遵义里一图，清末归遵义乡。民国时属融城镇北亭乡，所在为上西亭、下西亭两保。1961年改称阳下公社中亭大队；1984年9月改为村委会，隶阳下乡；2005年改设街道。[1]
荣誉[edit]
中亭村于2022年12月获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号，由福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名。[1]
