作坊村是阳下街道下辖的行政村。旧时村中多有手工作坊，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1961年村内设作坊大队，归阳下公社。1984年9月大队改称村委会，仍隶阳下乡。此后乡改镇（1991年），镇又改街道（2005年）。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
作坊山歼敌战遗址位于作坊村，纪念1949年8月17日福州敌军大部被歼的战事，参战部队属人民解放军第三野战军第10兵团。[1]
荣誉[edit]
作坊村获认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」，时间为2022年10月，认定机关是福建省农业农村厅。「2023年度福建省一村一品专业村（生猪）」称号于2023年12月授予作坊村。[1]
