地名由来[edit]
早年村民多由闽南惠安迁来，先搭草寮暂住，村落分散。草寮的「寮」与「楼」音近，村子俗称楼镜；后与油兰自然村合并，各取一字定名油楼。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1959年4月，由县笼大队析出3个自然村组成油楼大队；1961年归阳下公社；1984年9月改为村委会，隶阳下乡。2002年9月，三峡移民7户31人迁入，编为一个村民小组。[2]
1988年，阳下乡驻地迁至圣帝桥畔的油楼村。[4]
