阳下村位于福清城区北门外约四公里处，与阳下街道同名。村子原名洋下，一度称阳下，今村名与街道名相同。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村庄在玉屏山脚的田洋之中，早年称洋下。解放后改称阳下，取阳光底下的寓意。1959年4月村隶属城关公社的洋下大队，1961年改设阳下公社阳下大队，1984年起为阳下乡下的阳下村委会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村东统子坪山西北坡上有余长钺烈士陵园。余长钺1918年10月生于阳下村，1931年投身革命，后任福建人民政府在福清设的特派员，1937年6月牺牲，年未满十九岁。[1][2]
村中的余长钺烈士纪念碑被列为县级文物保护单位。[2]
荣誉[edit]
阳下村于2021年11月获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
