奎岭村是阳下街道下辖的行政村，村内有五个自然村。村名中的「奎」字由两处地名的字拼合而成：大较场的「大」字，与鸡垄埔一个两土相叠的字形「圭」。「岭」字则取自上、中、下三处岭尾。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地在宋代属太平乡修仁里，清末归修仁乡，1943年划入融城镇后连乡县笼埔保。1959年4月，五个自然村从县笼大队分出另立奎岭大队，1961年归阳下人民公社。1984年9月大队改称村委会，隶阳下乡；2005年12月起改设街道。[1]
荣誉[edit]
奎岭村于2021年11月获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号，认定方为福建省爱卫办。[1]
