埔尾村是福建省福州市福清市音西街道下辖的行政村，古称波美，民国初期改称埔尾保。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代村地属永福乡永福里，元代沿用。1943年归融城镇后连乡，分为6甲。[1]

1950年隶属第一区县笼乡，1955年10月改属茶亭区县笼乡；1958年归城关人民公社，设埔尾大队；1961年改属阳下公社的埔尾大队；1984年9月归阳下乡，设埔尾村委会。[1]

1991年乡改为镇，至2005年上半年，埔尾村才改属音西街道。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，埔尾村被福建省爱卫办评为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年10月，埔尾村经福建省农业农村厅认定，列入第二批「福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
