宏路村位于宏路街道中心地带，是福清西部的门户，交通便利。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名源于旧时村中道路东西两侧的“横路”，此路历来为福建南北交通要枢，村名谐音为宏路。[1][2]
宋代属永福乡善福里，内有东龙、常丰、永兴、深田、棋山等境；明代属东隅善福里。明洪武年间，村中已有宏路驿站；康熙初年建宏路寨，乾隆年间又有宏路公馆。[1][2]
清末划入修仁乡（隶东张镇）；1943年分设宏路、南宅保，隶东张镇宏路乡。此后历经第一区宏路乡、茶亭区等归属变化，1958年为城关公社宏路大队，1961年改隶音西公社，1970年改属宏路公社；1984年大队改为村委会，隶宏路镇，2005年12月并入宏路街道。[1]
人口民族[edit]
截至2016年12月，本村辖9个自然村，常住8714人，计2750户；其中库区移民约2000人，党员183人。[2]
经济[edit]
根据2024年福清市政府文件，宏路村被划定为「城郊融合类」村庄。[2]
文化[edit]
2021年11月，宏路村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
