松潭村的名称取自村前松林的涛声与水潭相映、水源丰盛的景况。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

周氏先祖于1242年（宋淳祐二年）由黄仑迁到此处定居。[3]

明代此地归南上隅仁寿里管辖，清宣统二年（1910年）归海口镇。1943年设立松潭保，1958年成立松潭大队，属城关公社，1961年改隶音西公社。1984年大队改为村委会，归音西镇辖。[2]

2005年12月起，村的行政归属改由龙江街道管辖，村名仍为松潭村。[2][3]
